Though
there might be little Cherry Blossoms at Nakijin right now, the castle
night display is still a beauty to see. Picture below was taken last
year from with inside the castle grounds.
Night display begins tomorrow, Saturday 19 January ends 3 February.
Cherry
blossoms are started blooming in Okinawa. How about enjoy watching them
at a historical place where is designated as the World Heritage in
Okinawa? “Nakijin Gusuku Cherry Blossom Festival” will be starting from
the 19th. The opening ceremony starts at 18:00, and taiko performance,
calligraphy performance, and lighting ceremony are in the program.
Other programs including eisa & traditional entertainment
performance, photo shoot with the King & Queen of Hokuzan, Nakijin
watermelon tasting, dressing-up in traditional Ryukyuan costume, and
other programs will be held during the festival. Would you like to enjoy

Nakijin Gusuku Cherry Blossom Festival
Date: January 19th (Sat) – February 3rd (Sun)
