Habu Museum Park

This year is the year of the snake.  The snake has been seen as a "messenger of God" in many parts of the world and has affected human history and faith.  Also in Japan, there are many shrines dedicated to the serpent.  They say meeting a snake will bring you good fortune.

The Habu Museum Park in Nanjo City will be showing 3 of the largest snakes in the world: Reticulated Python, Anaconda, and the King Cobra starting New Year's Day.  They will also show all kinds of snakes that live in Okinawa.
