Increased DoD phishing scams and spam

Increased DoD phishing scams and spam
Due to a significant increase in Phishing emails and SPAM on the internet directed towards the DoD community, all users should be aware of potential email scams, fake antivirus, phishing attacks and Social Networking scams. These Email scams contain links or attachments that may direct users to malicious websites or download malicious content.

What to do? Notify your Command Cyber Security manager or ISC then simply delete the message without taking any further action. Users are reminded not to click on suspicious links, or forward emails with suspicious links of this manner to other users.
